PTC Pre-Heater Module for Air Flows
Carefree operation, easy integration, safe heating, minimal pressure drop - these are our HVAC customers‘ needs. PTC Pre-Heater Modules are perfectly suited as pre-heating or post-heating unit for centralized and decentralized ventilation systems with heat recovery. Their insulated PTC Air Heater with delta-shaped fins achieves a significantly lower pressure drop which makes the heater particularly suitable for high-volume air flows or lower-power fans. Another field of application are air dryers and dehumidifiers.
PTC Pre-Heater Modules feature high power up to 2,2kW and can be operated at 220 - 240V AC or DC. Their compact frame with touch protection and the connection cable allow for easy integration into customer appliations. The integrated temperature limiter with a tripping temperature of 80°C resets automatically. This PTC Air Heater complies with the UL94V-0 flammability standard.
PTC Pre-Heater Modules come with all advantages of the PTC heating technology. Thanks to the PTC effect, the heating elements dynamically adjust their power without exceeding a maximum temperature. High operational reliability and energy efficiency without any additional switching elements.
